Experience

  • Photonic State (Government House) at Vivid Sydney 2018
    Sydney, Australia
    May 2018 - September 2018

While studying at the Enmore TAFE Design Centre, I volunteered to be a part of ‘Photonic State Vivid Sydney 2018’ where I animated the rainbow serpent as well as animated the Australian shapes to form a painting named ‘Women’s Business’. While working on the project, we had a client named Vanessa whom wanted to create three of her painting about her aboriginal culture into a 3d animation to put onto the government house.

The difficult thing about this project was that the house had different dimensions, the fact that it was going to be a light projecting our work and we needed to figure out what painting comes first and also, how to make a 2d painting into a 3d building.

The ending result was a success as we also won the Gold Award in the student category of AEAF 2018.

  • Vivid Sydney AR at Vivid Sydney 2018
    Sydney, Australia
    March 2018 - April 2018

I volunteered for Vivid Sydney AR as a modeler by creating a 3D model which I have named 'Control'. The brief was that the model would be displayed using a certain app on a phone and the object must be floating and not on a stand or pedestal.

I decided to go with my love and passion of games by making a bunch of control from different consoles (Nintendo, Playstation, Xbox etc.) connected together by cables.

All in all, while it was my first time volunteering for a massive project, the experience was very interesting and creative.
